[Tutorial] Home made reducer coupler.

 

If you don’t want to spend extra money on a reducer when you already have a coupler you can easily stretch your coupler to fit the side of the larger pipe!

I did this to attach my MAF to my intake pipe. It was about .5 inches too small which is a HUGE difference. To fix this little problem I did a nice two step process.

Step 1. Microwave the coupler for 1 minute.

Step 2. Curse while stretching the coupler over the pipe.

There you go, a simple way to save money! This will reduce the lifespan of the coupler though not terribly just don’t expect the expanded portion to last 10 years. It is a great temporary solution.
